Intersectionality Conversations

About Intersectionality Conversations

The Minnesota Public Health Association's Intersectionality Conversations events grew out of the 21 Day Racial Equity Challenge Connects that occurred after the 2021 Annual Conference. The Connects were based on the work of Dr. Eddie Moore. Intersectionality Conversation events are a way for MPHA members to continue to engage with each other in continued learning, growth, and reflection on how we all can improve our work through better partnering with communities who may have different experiences and identities from us.

Past Intersectionality Conversation Events

  • Ableism
  • Gender Identity
  • Implicit Bias
  • Religious & Spiritual Identities
  • Settler Colonialism
  • Weight Stigma
